SARAH MICHAEL NOVIA-LMFT

Ms. Novia graduated with a B.A. from New York University in 2001 and an M.S./Ed.S. from Florida State University in 2006.She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (state of CA), a Licensed Professional Counselor (state of CT), and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (state of MT). Ms. Novia holds National Counselor Certification (National Board of Certified Counselors), Distance Credentialed Counselor certification (Center for Credentialing and Education), state certification in Guidance K-12 (CT and FL) and a 40-hour certification in mediation from the University of Connecticut. Ms. Novia has extensive experience in inpatient psychiatric dual-diagnosis rehabilitation hospital settings. She has further expertise in working with urban communities, victims of trauma/grief, athletes, actors, and musicians. Although she isn’t a mother herself, she’s an adoring aunt and loves working and playing with children.
