WHY A TINY HOME?
- The Sturgis parents are planning to build a tiny house for their children to live in
- It is too crowded having mom, dad and their daughter Lauren live in the same house together
- The tiny house will be parked next to their current home
- Mom and dad will live in the main house and Lauren will live in the tiny house
- The son, Quinn, will also stay in the tiny house when he comes back home to visit from college
- Mom, dad and Lauren will be part of the build and design of the home
- The idea is to create a family compound on the same piece of property
- Ease of mobility, if the kids want to travel with the home
- They don’t want the burden of debt from an expensive home
CONCERNS
- Don't want the home to feel "box like" and confined
