After reading Jack Kerouac in high school, Glen heard the world calling and decided to answer and explore! Glen has split up his time between living in one-man tents in rural corners of the globe and living in his awe-inspiring luxurious home he has designed and built with renowned architect and close friend, Narendra Patel. The home features its own Helicopter pad, 270-degree view of the Coachella Valley, a circular shower and unusual, architectural shapes. What is blingier than having Toddrick and Kim arrive to a house via helicopter with it’s own helipad?! Oh, and it’s not just Glen who’s enjoyed the home. When Lizzo was famously having a beef with a home she rented in the desert, Glen opened his doors to the entertainer and Lizzo absolutely LOVED it! Oh Billie Eilish has also stayed at his place. The Viking Villa isn’t just for explorers!

Glen has led an incredibly interesting life traveling the world on his motorcycle and connecting with all who he encounters. Throughout his journey’s, he has written several best-selling travel books. During a trip to Columbia, Glen was taken prisoner by a Marxist rebel group, the national liberation army. He was able to finagle his way out of captivity. The FBI was ready to take him back to America and get him to a hospital, he said “no”, got a new bike, and continued his journey. His travels are reflected in the home in the form of pieces that he has collected and the photographs that he has taken. Various sculptures, and décor pieces inspired or from his travel help to accentuate the already other-worldly architecture of the villa. The home is decorated with his original photographs of the people and places that he’s visited on his journey’s. Some may call it tacky, but to Glen it’s his art and his life!

• With the home being 100 ft. outside the city limit the home boasts a fully functioning helicopter pad! Yes, guests who don’t want to be inconvenienced by a banal airport can simply just land their helicopter at Glen’s house!

• Glen’s idea behind the design of the house was to create a sculpture that you could live in. The entry way to the home is a 20 ft. high slate hall that leads to a 9 ft. giant glass door. When you enter through the door, you’re immediately greeted by a large Buddha statue and a sense of peace and serenity.

• Viking inspired horns decorate the show-stopping slate fireplace. And a hall of original photography are a look inside Glen’s very exotic and exciting life.

• The primary bedroom features floor to ceiling blinds, a massive bed and a private bathroom with a spiral shower!

• There’s nothing square about the home, everything has been built at a diagonal and the footprint of the house is a zig zag.

• The concrete design for the home was incredibly difficult and only one from Guatemala was able to achieve the look that Glen was going for.

• Lizzo and Billie Eilish are just a few of the many names that have visited the Viking Villa.

• Not only celebrities will visit the house from time to time, Glen often will spot big horn sheep wandering by the property as well as the occasional quail family.
