• Scott says that his mom’s lackluster cooking as a kid spurred his love affair with food. When he was in college, he used food to make friends and meet girls!

• He has taken over Hanukkah in his family and he loves that it is now a “can’t miss edible event” that brings his family together.

• Scott’s wife, Hillary, loves his Hanukkah dinner so much that she requested that he make it for her 30th birthday gathering! Scott made gravlox, latkes, brisket, kugel, matzah ball soup, gefilte fish, shakshuka, hummus, falafel, Israeli salads, schnitzel and blintzes.

• Scott is known for his legendary latkes with fresh, homemade apple sauce. His private clientele will request them year-round. He says he has made more latkes than his bubbie did in her lifetime!

• His private clients have asked him to create some Jewish fusion meals, his favorite experiment was making a miso matzah ball soup.

• Scott wants to compete for his wife and daughters so they will be proud that his Hanukkah dinner is in fact the best around!
