Sarah Trilla - Director of Development

Sarah Trilla is director of development at Bodega Pictures, where she is responsible for identifying and developing new talent, formats and IP across a wide range of unscripted genres for the company. She came aboard Bodega in February of 2020, and has continued to create original show ideas and dynamic pitch materials.

Prior to Bodega, Trilla was an associate producer at Disney, during which time she produced the critically acclaimed celebrity talk show Earth to Ned in conjunction with Jim Henson Studios. Before Disney, she served as a development producer for NBCUniversal with a focus on original unscripted lifestyle programming, working on series like E! True Hollywood Story and Oxygen’s A Life to Die For and The DNA of a Murder with Paul Holes in addition to other projects for USA, Bravo and Netflix. 

Trilla began her career in the industry as an associate casting producer with MysticArt Pictures, working on hit series like Organize the World with Marie Kondo (Netflix), The Gong Show (ABC) and The Price is Right (CBS) where she discovered and cast the show’s first African American model. Trilla, a native Chicagoan, currently resides in Los Angeles with her partner, Joey, and their fashion-forward Irish Doodle, Diane Keaton.
