Being the only boy in a family of seven sisters, Rudy placed an importance on beauty from a young age and throughout childhood. After high school, he decided
to turn his growing knowledge and love for beauty into a full-time career, by attending cosmetology school for his license and then pursuing a career as a
makeup artist.

Today, Rudy’s version of beauty extends far beyond his face...literally. His favorite rapper, Nicki Minaj displays perfection in Rudy’s eyes: she gloats a hugely protruding behind. This giant butt is the specific look that Rudy is after, and it’s not easy to get. Rudy has a friend that connected him with a silicone butt implant “doctor.” The term “doctor” is used loosely because the implants themselves are extremely dangerous and in fact, not even legal. He claims he was nervous about
the procedure in the beginning, which involves injecting silicon with an 8-inch needle under the muscle in each glute, but once he was past the potential for a bad reaction, he knew he wanted more. Now, Rudy has had four rounds of silicon butt implants, and has no plans of stopping any time soon until he has the biggest
behind possible.

One of Rudy’s seven sisters, Llesenia secretly loves to grab and pinch her brother’s huge backside - but that doesn’t mean she’s in favor of him making it even bigger.
Llesenia and her sisters worry that it’ll be too much quickly, but also calls Rudy stubborn. She says the whole family knows that no matter what they say, he’ll do what he wants to do. They urge him to slow down, discouraging him from going bigger. It often falls on deaf ears. A quick internet search can quickly confirm the risks involved with the type of injections that Rudy is doing: “Silicone butt injections can lead to a range of health risks and complications, including infections, scarring, chronic pain, disfigurement, and even death. The silicone can migrate to other parts of the body, causing damage to internal organs and tissue. In some cases, the
silicone can also harden, leading to the formation of granulomas (lumps of inflamed tissue) or nodules.”- Dr. Rosmy Barrios, an aesthetic medical specialist.

Beauty doesn’t stop with butt implants for Rudy, though. He’s also a repeat customer for different kinds of fillers, has had weight loss surgery, and is hoping to
get rhinoplasty. It doesn’t bother him when people call him fake, which happens frequently, because he loves the look and takes pride in being the one in the friend
group with the biggest butt. As more and more people in Rudy’s circles are getting Brazilian Butt Lifts, Rudy is listening to his competitive inner monologue...and will
keep getting more and more implants until he’s sure that no one else’s big behind will even hold a candle to his own. At what point will the health risks and illegality of these implants become too much for Rudy to handle? And by the time that happens...will it be too late?
