Reno is a master welder, a brilliant fabricator, an obsessive builder and an inventor extraordinaire. His journey started in high school, and it has been non-stop for him ever since. He builds grills and smokers in many variations, from traditional to out-of-the-box extravagance. He has made smokers that look like trains and pigs, utilizing playfully creative design ideas. His customers typically leave it up to him to make their sometimes outlandish ideas come to life, but he feels he truly strives when he is forced to think on his feet. Reno and his wife own a catering company called “Third Generation BBQ.” When it comes to BBQ’ing, nobody in his community will dare challenge him to a cook-off. He is just too far advanced. For Reno, bigger is always better, and he prefers Flintstones-sized ribs and steaks, seasoning his monster cuts with unique fusion spice ideas which he invents himself.
