Husband: Sergey, 41

Missing Wife: Daria, 29

Location: Miami, Florida

Disappeared: July 2025

Love Story

  • Sergey, originally from Russia, moved to the Mid-West when he was five years old.

  • He developed a passion for high-end cars, and has made a lucrative living hauling luxury vehicles. He is a staple at luxury car shows and likes to mingle with the upper class in Miami.

  • 2020, Sergey met Daria inside a Russian church in Miami.

  • Daria was 23, a former college basketball player from Russia on a student visa that was set to expire within months.

  • Their first date was paddleboarding at the beach, their second ice skating and by the third date Sergey invited her to quit her job and travel the country with him. Surprisingly she said yes.

  • Three months later, he proposed.

  • 2021, ten months later, they married in the same church where they met.

Marriage and Life Together

  • Sergey brought Daria into his world of exotic cars, luxury shows, and the fast-moving social scene of South Florida.

  • Daria began chasing opportunities in modeling and real estate, while Sergey worked long hauls moving supercars across the country.

  • She became obsessed with labels, luxury, and the idea of “leveling up.”

  • Once, while married, he saw her YouTube history filled with videos titled How to date a Millionaire. Still, Sergey says he never stopped loving her.

Cracks in the Foundation

  • While they were married Daria discovered a criminal record under Sergey’s name: DUIs, theft, and court cases.

  • Sergey explains that the charges are not his. He’s the victim of identity theft. The culprit? His brother. His own brother used Sergey’s identity to get out of a litany of illegal activity, letting Sergey take the fall. However, Sergey hasn’t gone through the legal process of clearing his background.

  • Daria wasn’t sure what to believe. Did Sergey tell the truth about who he really was and his background? Is he really a bad man with a criminal background? Or is he really telling the truth, that he’s a victim of identity theft and this is all a major misunderstanding.

Disappearance

  • April 2025, Daria became a U.S. citizen. Sergey says he was relieved, ready to start their life without immigration stress.

  • July 2025, while he was away hauling cars, she vanished.

  • He called her on the phone requesting her to make him his favorite breakfast.

  • He returned home to find the breakfast warm and waiting for him on the table, but Daria was nowhere to be found. All of her belongings were gone.

  • Her phone was off. He was blocked on social media.

Aftermath / Attempts to Find Her

  • He’s tried calling, emailing, and even sending letters to her family, but every message goes unanswered.

  • She blocked him on every platform.

  • He thinks that he knows where she works, but feels like he might be trespassing or would cause a disruption ending with the police being called if he were to show up at her place of business unannounced on a personal matter.

Betrayed or Exposed

  • Sergey is still legally married and still very much in love.

  • Sergey can’t help but wonder if it’s just a coincidence that she disappeared only days after becoming a U.S. citizen. The church and community where they met is filled with recently arrived Eastern Europeans and has a reputation as a hotbed for marriage fraud.

  • Sergey wonders if Daria used him for citizenship. His friends believe so.

  • Sergey still very much loves Daria and believes that they can still work through any issues that they have.
