• Micheal was the first person in his family to attend college and received a full academic scholarship to NYU, where he studied physics and mathematics.

• At only 19, he started an AI computer-vision company and developed an algorithm capable of detecting crimes through security-camera footage.

• Despite his impressive academic background, Micheal is eccentric, incredibly candid, emotionally sensitive, and admittedly a little unconventional.

  Love Story

• Micheal met Elizabeth in October 2022 at a party in New York City. Micheal was immediately attracted to her and found her striking, emotional, eccentric, and sexy.

• Elizabeth was nine years older than Micheal and originally from Belarus. She had only recently immigrated to the United States after winning the green card lottery and was in the process of divorcing the husband she had immigrated with.

• Micheal and Elizabeth began dating shortly after meeting. 

• Their relationship quickly became serious. Elizabeth met Micheal’s parents, Micheal virtually met her family in Belarus, and they discussed eventually living together.

• Micheal had never experienced a relationship like this before. He describes Elizabeth as the first woman he was truly “in love” with and says being with her felt like finding a “mirror to my soul.”

• Micheal believed Elizabeth was his person. Although Elizabeth had reservations about marriage because of her previous divorce, Micheal fully expected that the two of them would eventually marry and build a life together.

  Life Leading Up to the Disappearance

• Just before she vanished, Micheal was living part-time in Los Angeles and Atlanta while Elizabeth remained in New York. They were dating long-distance and Micheal continued seeing her approximately once or twice a month.

• Micheal was planning to eventually move back to New York, and as their three-year anniversary approached, the couple was actively making plans to celebrate together in New York.

• Micheal was temporarily staying with family in Atlanta when he purchased a ticket to New York and sent Elizabeth a screenshot of his flight.

• The day before, they had spoken normally on the phone. There had been no breakup, major fight, or conversation suggesting their relationship was about to end.

Disappearance

• In October 2025, just before their three-year anniversary, Micheal sent Elizabeth his flight information for his upcoming trip to New York. She read the message but did not respond.

• Micheal called her, but she did not answer. The following day, he texted again and received no response. Soon his messages stopped delivering altogether.

• Micheal tried contacting Elizabeth through Telegram and discovered he was blocked. He checked Instagram and was blocked there too. 

• Micheal emailed her and continued trying to contact her for approximately a month, but Elizabeth never responded.

  Micheal Goes Looking for Her

• Despite being ghosted, Micheal still traveled to New York for the anniversary trip they had planned because he wanted to find Elizabeth and understand what had happened.

• There was one major problem: Elizabeth had recently moved and Micheal did not have her new address.

• Micheal is extremely tech savvy, and he realized that the photographs Elizabeth had previously sent him contained location metadata. Using that information, he was able to narrow her location down to what he believed was her apartment building in Brooklyn.

• Micheal traveled deep into Brooklyn and went to the building, but without an apartment number there was little he could do.

• He stood outside for approximately an hour and then waited at a nearby coffee shop, hoping that Elizabeth might eventually appear. She never did.

• Micheal eventually returned to his hotel and began accepting that after nearly three years together, Elizabeth might truly be gone.

  The Spiral of Questions

• Nearly a year later, Micheal says he still has absolutely no idea where Elizabeth is or what she is doing.

• Micheal believes she is likely still somewhere in the United States because she already had a green card and loved living in America, but beyond that, he has very few leads.

• The couple shared virtually no mutual friends, and Micheal says Elizabeth had very few close relationships in America. Most of the people in her life were acquaintances who would come and go, leaving Micheal with almost no one he could contact for information.

Clues

• The last time Micheal saw Elizabeth, she made a point of showing him a ring she was wearing on her wedding band finger, even teasing him about it, trying to trigger jealousy. She insisted the ring meant nothing, but after her sudden disappearance, Micheal can’t help but wonder if it was actually a clue.

• Was Elizabeth already involved with someone else, and was the ring a sign that she had another relationship or another life Micheal knew nothing about?

• Micheal also questions whether money played a role. Elizabeth had once been fiercely financially independent, but after losing several higher-paying jobs, she was working a low-wage office job and unexpectedly began asking Micheal for money.

• Elizabeth presented a very different life on social media than the one Micheal saw behind the scenes. Online, she posed in business attire outside office buildings and made bragging posts that projected success and ambition, while in reality she was struggling financially.
  

Who Was Elizabeth Really?

• Micheal remembers Elizabeth telling him that she had interactions with the KGB or another government organization in Belarus through her work in the country’s technology community.

• Micheal does not know whether the stories were true, exaggerated, or completely fabricated.

• There is a mysterious older man named Eugene in North Carolina who Micheal says Elizabeth communicated with throughout their relationship.

• Micheal never fully understood the nature of Elizabeth’s relationship with Eugene, but Elizabeth told him that she had considered moving in with Eugene when she first arrived in America.

• At one point, Elizabeth mailed something to Micheal and used Eugene’s North Carolina home as her return address, despite living in New York.

• Micheal also suspects Eugene may have financially supported Elizabeth or allowed her to use his credit card.

Immediate Fallout

• At first, Micheal tried to emotionally detach and convince himself that Elizabeth simply wanted to end the relationship. But as one month became two and then three without a single explanation, the reality of what happened hit.

• He moved back in with his parents during this time. 

• Micheal says he was heartbroken for approximately eight months and even lost 15 pounds while trying to rebuild himself and regain control of his life.

• Despite wanting love and companionship, he is currently afraid to date because he does not want another relationship to have the power to derail his life in the same way.

Why He Needs to Find Her Now

• Micheal does not want Elizabeth back and is not looking for reconciliation. What he wants is closure and an acknowledgement of what she did.
