The Pagliarulo’s own TomFoolery Motorsports, the company that encompasses all of their pro-racing vehicles. This is a family that truly “eats, breathes and sleeps” monster trucks 24/7 and they let their outgoing, competitive and big personalities shine through the sport. Matthew and Laura began their journey simply as fans but now they travel the country with “Monster Jam” living the dream with their children following in their footsteps. This is a family of motor heads who drive just about anything with wheels: go-carts, souped-up school buses, demolition derby’s and ATV’s…anything adrenaline inducing and destructive they’re all about it.
Outgoing, larger-than life father, Matthew, currently drives the monster truck “Jester” while their eldest son Nick drives the full-size monster truck “Kraken.” Laura serves as the crew chief for the team while the other kids, Michael and Brooke, are currently driving mini-monster trucks. They are eager to get both Michael and Brooke into a full size Monster Truck in the coming years. Michael has taken the wheel of the full-size truck several times and is transitioning from mini to full.
Matt and Laura know that it takes hard work and dedication to succeed in this industry and that's why they've instilled this in their children from an early age. Their children have an extremely strong work ethic as they’ve continued to grow and live out their dreams of making it to the professional level. When they aren’t at work or school, they are all working sometimes 12-16 hours a day to make sure they are prepared for their next event on the road. Every person in this family is always working to help each other to be the best that they can be. With three men, all driving big trucks, there’s plenty of ego and testosterone to go around. They compete with one another, but dad is the alpha of the family who rules with a “have-fun” but “tough love mentality.”
Currently, Matt and Laura are focused on getting their second youngest Michael in the full size monster truck that they are in the process of building so that he can compete by the time he is 18. In doing so, they will have three professional drivers in the family. They are also revamping Brooke’s Mini Monster for the upcoming season. Matt and Laura spare no expense when making sure their kids have the best and safest equipment in order to succeed even if it takes a little extra time.
