Michael’s experience with metal started when he took a supplementary welding and fabrication class while he was in art school. Now, he runs a successful fabrication business, executing projects that have run the gamut from steel buildings, oil tanks, water towers, abstract art and, of course, BBQ grills and smokers. He’s a big believer in building grills and smokers that will last his customer’s lifetime and on his off time, uses his own custom BBQ grill 3-4 times a week. Representation of people of color in his industry is extremely important to Michael. He hopes to inspire the next generation to join a world that his given him so much.
