Ken is originally from Belgium, but the frigid winters and high cost of living wasn’t for him so he traded his winter coat for a year round tan and packed his bags for Mexico. Ken run’s his own software company and manages residential buildings. Because Ken was gifted with nearly perfect aesthetic genetics he models on the side. He met Diana in 2013 during a brochure photo shoot and the two sparked a romance. 

Diana and Ken solidified a relationship when Diana became pregnant. Ken progressed their relationship during a romantic surprise proposal under the Eiffel tower. The two were in engagement bliss during their multi-country engagement-moon. But, when the lovebirds returned to Mexico it wasn’t the blissful home life that they had hoped for. Diana, a fiery and envious Mexican lady couldn’t help but be jealous of the attention Ken would get from other women. Their relationship devolved and they split up. Ken and Diana were together for approximately a year and a half.

Today Diana and Ken share a #complicated relationship. Although they are friends and inextricably tethered together, there are plenty of challenges as they navigate a relationship and life together. Diana lives in an apartment that managed by Ken. Naturally, Diana isn’t a huge fan of being beholden to her ex for paying rent, the fact that he can access her apartment when he pleases and that he’s the one to call if something needs to be fixed. Ken is a naturally social creature so anytime he has a party or spends a day on the beach Diana will come along. Ken is also investing in a beauty business for Diana, so they’re also business partners! To further enmesh their lives, Diana and Ken are the parents to Matteo, a bright spunky young man of eight years old. Ken is a supportive father and does everything in his power to create a normal and happy life for his son. But when Matteo needed an English teacher, Ken decided to have his girlfriend step in to teach his son English. A better idea than how it played out in practice.

Martha and Ken have been together for roughly a year. To see them together, you feel the romance and spark between them. She’s a show-stopping personal trainer who will do fashion shoots from time-to-time. Martha agreed to help Ken by tutoring his son, but Martha developing a relationship with Matteo makes things complicated between her and Diana. Diana isn’t thrilled to see Martha, a Goddess-like woman stepping into the life that she had hoped for with Ken. Diana sees that Martha has a loving, non-volatile relationship with Ken. Martha has a good relationship with Matteo, and their lives are seemingly perfect. Diana can’t help but be jealous of the life she never had.

Diana and Martha have a roller-coaster of a relationship. At one point Diana and Martha were the best of friends and they even lived together! Diana even leant Martha her favorite dress and encouraged Martha to go on romantic excursions with Ken. However, after a while, the reality of Martha and Ken being together was too much and Diana kicked Martha out of the apartment. Martha was confused by the mixed signals…which continue to this day. Martha never really knows where she stands with Diana. At one moment they’ll be laughing and dancing and the next Diana is up in arms against Martha. At times Martha and Diana will confide in one another about their shared experience with Ken. This causes issues for Ken, because he would prefer Martha come to him about issues in their relationship. Diana has been known to yell and break plates if she’s upset.

Ken and Martha have been together for roughly a year and are doing well despite the challenges of Diana being a presence in their life. The couple are navigating what it means to be in a serious relationship. Ken is a deeply patient person and Martha is emotional and reactive. When issues arise in their relationship, Martha’s knee-jerk reaction is to run away and Ken’s reaction is to pull her closer in. All this being true, Martha ultimately admits that Ken has awakened something in her: a deep and undeniable love. Diana admits that she has trust issues when it comes to Martha. She thinks that sometimes Martha is only friends with her to get closer to Ken. Diana isn’t sure what to think.

As Ken and Martha continue to deepen and solidify their relationship the more that Diana will either have to get on board with their relationship or create boundaries. It’s a difficult position as she can’t completely distance herself because of Matteo. Ken thinks that Martha is an upstanding person who could be a positive role-model in Diana’s life. Martha is also very domestic and could help Diana take care of Matteo and keeping up with the home. Ken has considered getting a larger place and proposing that the three of them live together. Ken thinks that it might be positive experience for both Diana and Martha, and that it would be ideal for Martha and Ken as well. However, Ken knows that there’s been massive drama in the past, so this might be a recipe for disaster…
