Delaney is a southern belle with big charisma, bigger charm, and a serious knack for finding dreamy, affordable beach homes along Alabama’s Gulf Coast. She’s helped tons of clients land their perfect slice of paradise; but now she’s facing her most demanding, picky, and hard-to-please client yet: her mom. That’s right! Delaney is representing her own mother in the search for the ultimate beach house, and let’s just say... it’s personal.

Born with beach sand in her veins and sweet tea in her hand, Delaney ditched a basketball scholarship to University of Alabama to follow her heart to the coast at 18, where she met her Czech husband working at an ice cream shop. Delaney is a go-getter and bought an ice-cream shop of her own, which has since turned into several ice cream stores! She sold half-a-million in ice cream last year alongside her European husband! As if that wasn’t enough, Delaney also started in real estate helping her dad flip foreclosures. She was bitten by the real estate bug and as a realtor now helps people find their perfect beach homes! At only 25 years old Delaney is a force of nature. Oh, and did we mention Delaney is also a mom to a one year old girl named Joy?  

Mandy and Bill, Delaney’s parents, are finally entertaining the idea of leaving behind their life in Tulsa for a fresh start along Alabama’s Gulf Coast to be closer to Delaney, as well as Delaney’s brother. With a brand-new grandbaby in the picture and family time suddenly more precious than ever, the couple is feeling the pull of coastal living stronger than ever before. 

They’ve been visiting Delaney more frequently, falling in love with the sunshine, the tight-knit community, and the charm of the area but actually pulling the trigger on a move? That’s where things get complicated.

They’re not chasing expensive beach mansions; instead, Mandy and Bill are looking for the right mix of comfort, functionality, and affordability. However, it certainly seems that Mandy has champagne taste on a beer budget. She wants water, a big house and a pool. Bill is cautious about diving into a hotter, more expensive market after living in a place where $300,000 goes a lot further, and both he and Mandy are keeping an eagle eye on value.

Mandy is all about the wow factor; she wants high-end finishes, beautiful design, and a spacious home of at least 3,000 square feet even if it’s just for the two of them. BUT she wants it on a budget, and she’s not a very compromising person. Bill, meanwhile, is focused on practicality. He works from home as a cloud consultant and needs a solid space that’s quiet, functional, and financially smart. 

Mandy wants a pool and wants to be as close to the water and ocean as possible. Bill on the other hand would sacrifice being close to the ocean if it meant more space for him. Bill really wants a big garage so that he can turn it into a home gym. Working out at home is his time to be unbothered. He wants to be able to enjoy the ocean air while working out at home, while Mandy wants a pool and to be as close as possible to the water. 

They’ve looked at over 100 homes already, but Mandy and Bill just haven’t found “the one!” that they want to call home. Although they haven’t officially made the leap yet, Mandy and Bill are getting close. Delaney is determined to find the perfect beach spot for her family, so she can really have it all: family, friends, husband, child, and of course sunshine and ice cream!
