• Erik is a professional makeup artist and beauty director based in North Hollywood with nearly two decades in the beauty industry. He’s worked all over the world in fashion, beauty, and entertainment, including serving as Beauty Director for New York, LA, and Miami Fashion Week, overseeing large hair and makeup teams and working closely with faces and bodies every day.

• Erik believes he would be an expert at spotting plastic surgery because of his extensive experience working inches away from clients’ faces and bodies. He says he notices subtle tells like scars, tightness, unnatural symmetry, shiny skin textures, lip movement, eyebrow positioning, chest movement, and body proportions that may suggest cosmetic procedures or enhancements.

• He describes himself as highly intuitive with a strong ability to read people quickly through body language, posture, facial expressions, and behavioral cues. Erik says he can often assess someone “within five seconds” and prides himself on having an extremely strong “BS detector,” calling himself blunt, direct, and difficult to fool.

• Erik’s strategy would rely heavily on observation and movement-based prompts. He says he would ask contestants to raise their eyebrows, stick out their tongues, lift their arms, or move naturally so he could study facial flexibility, chest movement, posture, and physical tells that might reveal Botox, implants, lifts, or other cosmetic work.

• Beyond physical cues, Erik would also ask deeper personal questions to evaluate insecurity, confidence, and emotional reactions. He believes people reveal a lot through their body language and emotional responses when discussing self-image and confidence.

• Erik is extremely outgoing, charismatic, funny, and highly competitive. He openly says he wants to win, enjoys calling people out when he senses deception, and thrives in unscripted, off-the-cuff environments where he can rely on instinct, personality, and fast reads on strangers.
