These international ladies of mystery couldn’t have more in common: they both moved to NYC from different countries to pursue their dreams. They’re both gorgeous, former models. They’re both very single.. and they are both members of the infamous Eklund Gomes team in New York. These feisty, ambitious and funny ladies are truly the complete package: whip-smart, hysterical, full of charm and personality, sexy, accomplished, motivated and of course, they’re women of the world.

Julijia grew up in Lithuania as a prodigy child, studying classical piano. She toured throughout Europe at the age of 11. From there, she received her graduate degree at NYU Stern/Steinhard and then started her career in real estate. She began by servicing corporate relocations for major banks around the world such as Goldman Sachs, Deloitte and Deutsche Bank. Today, Julijia specializes in NYC Luxury. Her listings range anywhere between $5M to $45M. She’s used to working with high net-worth individuals and knows how to navigate the prickly and entitled personalities that come with the position. This busy lady has also expanded into other luxury markets including the Hamptons and Miami. Because Julijia speaks multiple languages and has worked in companies with a global reach, she finds working with affluent, foreign clients a piece of cake. As it would societally appear that she’s seducing them.  

Mayra was born and raised in a rural area of Mexico. At seventeen years old she left her home-country for a trip to NYC with her girlfriends. During her trip she was scouted by Elite Models. She signed up on the spot and hasn’t move home since! Mayra has enjoyed a successful modelling career that has allowed her access to a high-end world of celebrities, wealthy individuals, artists and entertainers. Since her rolodex began to expand and she knew that she wanted more in life than simply modeling swimwear, Mayra decided to venture into real estate. She’ been involved in larger transactions of $40M and above, but her sweet spot is between $5M-$10M. It doesn’t hurt that Mayra speaks Spanish and is able to cater to a large, Latino population from Mexico!

These ladies met through work, both serving on the Eklund Gomes team. They became fast friends once they realized how much they truly have in common. They’ll even work together, helping each other with buyers and sellers. However, as successful as their careers are, their love lives are not as much. Julijia is single, but still has a close relationship with her ex. In fact, he’s a high-earning individual and Julijia is helping him to close on some real estate. Although she gets a lot of attention from men, Julijia is incredibly picky when it comes to Mr. Right. All the men she meets seem to be looking for something better and/or younger. Julijia isn’t afraid of approaching a man if she thinks he might be a fit. She’s aggressive and goes after what she wants, whether that’s in career or in her personal life. She’s not going to play a game or wait for a man to make a move. She doesn’t have time or interested in antiquated gender roles.

Mayra isn’t much better off. Known to her friends and family as “the runaway bride,” Mayra has been engaged on the three separate occasions, to three different men. One of those times she cancelled the DAY before the wedding. Suffice it to say, Mayra is impulsive, uncompromising, and she’s going to do precisely what she wants. Although she would love to find a man who can handle her fast-paced lifestyle, she can’t quite find the person who can handle all her extremes. She knows that she can always find a man, but what she doesn’t have is time to spare as it relates to her biological clock. With or without a husband or partner, Mayra intends on having a baby of her own. She’ll use a donor and raise a child by herself if she must. Motherhood is a priority to her! She has the means, the family support, the time and commitment to take care of a child, so there’s nothing stopping her! Naturally, being pregnant while dating might be tricky, but she won’t let that stop her!

When these It-Girls of real estate aren’t closing hefty transactions they’re enjoying everything that NYC has to offer including luxury spas, members only lounges and international travel. In fact, Julijia gifted herself a rental in the Hamptons last summer as a reward for a major closing! Mayra is obsessed with purses and loves to be able to dress to the nines. Once a model always a model! These women have already enjoyed envious levels of success, but they’re not satisfied until they’re getting everything that they want out of career and their personal lives.
