Jordan & Emma

Jordan White, 26

Manhattan, NY

Real Estate Agent

Emma Kruse, 30

Brooklyn, NY

Real Estate Agent

Emma was at the office late one night, crying. She was working for an intense and narcissistic agent who drove her insane. She was on his team, low level, working such long hours. Suddenly, a petite blonde and her high heels clicked over to her desk with a bottle of wine. Her name was Jordan and she was going through the exact same thing. These two were both new to real estate and couldn’t believe how male driven the company was. They cried, drank and bonded over all the issues. Emma was so thankful to have a female at work she could do that with. They decided to have a night out and while it was fun, Emma wasn’t sure if Jordan was an “outside of work” friend. She felt as though they were opposites. Jordan loves being extra and refers to herself as “the boujie blonde” with thought-out outfits for all the clubs in Manhattan. After another work event, Emma realized that opposites do attract, Jordan was a girl’s girl, life of the party and she needed someone like that in her stressful life. Now, these two see each other multiple times a week and on weekends. Nights out, work events, fancy dinners and trips, they’re always together. They both left that previous company and are at different brokerages trying to make it in the cut-throat world of real estate.

Emma was born and raised in New Jersey, so it was always a given that she’d end up in New York City. She started a finance desk job and realized quickly she needed to be client facing, so real estate was the obvious choice. And after years of being a flight attendant, Jordan strived for more. She was stationed in New York and fell in love with the city and its architecture. With her intense personality, she knew she needed to be in sales. Plus, flight attendant money wasn’t going to fund her shopping addiction. Currently, these gal pals are single with empty rosters. They both love to play the field but also vent, quite often, about how hard the dating scene is in NYC. As much as they love being single, they both worry they don’t give off the marriage material vibe. But that doesn’t stop them from being their bold, unapologetic selves who thrive on chaos. If they aren’t at a broker event or summering in the Hamptons together, they’re probably talking about the guys they hooked up with the night before.
