Jeffrey Eisner (38)
New York, NY
Jeffrey didn’t grow up surrounded by cooks; in fact, he is completely self-taught. However, he admits, his friends and grandmother influenced him.
He says his chopped liver is to die for. He’s also known for his brisket, and his Jewish Wedding Soup – his personal take on the Italian Wedding Soup.
His biggest strength is pressure-cooking. In fact, he runs a blog – pressureluckcooking.com – that has over 100 pressure cooker recipes.
What he loves most about Hanukkah is the excuse he has to cook and to organize gatherings with his friends and family.
The biggest reward for him is when people write to him, to let him know he inspired them to step in the kitchen and start cooking.
