Hollywood Fairytale Castle

Homeowner: Adam & Lisa Friedman

Occupation: Entrepreneurs/business owners

Home Location: hollywood

In the 1970s Adam’s father built the castle in the Hollywood Hills because he always wanted to live in a home from another era. Adam grew up in the palatial estate and now, 40 years later, he’s raising his own children in the medieval property.  Lisa, however, grew up in suburban America, so for her, living in a castle is a girlhood dream come true! Adam’s castle is like something out of a storybook, equipped with a moat, a drawbridge, suits of armor and secret rooms, so secret that he won’t even share them with his best friends. With gorgeous view of the city, Adam’s castle is a sight that you need to see to believe. Currently, Adam, Lisa, and their kids are the only people living in the castle.  Adam’s family lets him care for it, which can be a lot of work, but Adam doesn’t know any better than to live there. This unique location has become an iconic landmark in the Hollywood Hills landscape of Bronson Canyon.
