Hospitality

  • Helene grew up in the kitchen with her grandma. Her grandma wasn’t big on following recipes, and cooked strictly by taste – today Helene is the same kind of cook.

  • She is known for her potato latkes, cheese blintzes, and stuffed cabbage. 

  • Traditional cooking is her thing. She likes to stick with only the traditional ingredients and she never substitutes. She likes the real thing, cooked the real and traditional way.

  • Since she was born during the Hanukkah celebration her family always called her “Hanny Baby” growing up. 

  • A big tradition in her family is the handing down of the menorah. Her family has used the same menorah for multiple generations, and plans to use it for more to come.
