Ali Farhat is a man with many titles: The Beast from the Middle East, The Man they Hale, or better yet, The Reigning, Defending Undefeated Ultimate Wrestling Nation Heavyweight Champion of the World.  To his son Adam, though, he’s just Dad.  Now, with over 20 years of professional wrestling experience under his belt, he’s taken on Adam, “The Baby Beast,” to follow in his footsteps.  And Adam’s ready for it.  With his earliest memories being watching wrestlers grapple in the ring, and with a pedigree like his, Adam is well on his way to becoming a pro, and he’s excelling way beyond his years. The father-son duo hope to one day set the record for Adam to be the youngest man to ever sign a WWE developmental contract, and Ali will stop at nothing to get him there. Even though you would never know it now, the road here wasn’t easy. Twenty years ago, Ali was traveling the world competing as a professional wrestler — life was great.  However, after tragedy struck on September 11th, everything changed. As a Middle Eastern person with a pilot’s license, Ali could no longer enter the US. Consequently, his contract with the WWF was cut short, and he had to settle in Canada. Eleven years later, Ali’s grandmother was tragically murdered in their small village in the mountains of Lebanon. One day after, Adam was born three months premature at 1 pound 10 ounces. Blind, jaundiced, and having withstood 20 minutes without oxygen in his brain, Adam spent the first 3 months of his life on the verge of death. Thankfully, with what Ali can only credit to God’s permission, Adam and his three siblings are healthy and thriving today.

Specializing in showmanship and intensity coaching, Ali knows how to put on a good performance. He growls, grunts, shouts, and with his massive muscles and killer goatee, he’s got the swagger of a star. But don’t let his tough exterior fool you — at the end of the day he’s a tender papa bear with a big heart. In fact, he actually also works as a life skills mentor. Having gotten his start at the First Nation Wrestling Federation, one of his biggest missions in life is bringing awareness to Canada’s indigenous population. Today, in the light of the recent revelations made concerning Canada’s residential school system, he’s combined his two passions and is putting on a traveling pro-wrestling performance showcasing native struggles including addiction, violence, abandonment, abuse and perseverance, all lessons he hopes to instill within Adam as he grows up. Amongst the performance, his life coaching workshops, Adam’s training, and having just launched a second performance center in Dubai, Ali is at the top of his game setting Adam up for success to follow in his footsteps.
