Christina and Druscilla, or Dru, for short, introduce themselves as wives, lovers, and best friends. They do everything together. When they wake up in the morning, they head into the bathroom to wash their faces and brush their teeth at the same time. And then, because they have neighboring toilets, they go to the bathroom together with the doors open so they don’t have to actually be apart. Sure, they scroll their own phones, but more often than not end up consuming the same content and send it back and forth to each other for discussion while they do their business, next to each other at the same time…yes, Christina and Dru are inseparable.

The obsession that Christina and Dru have for each other may boarder on addiction. They know each other’s scents to a “T” and take every opportunity to get a hit – smelling each other’s body parts, each other’s clothes (including underwear), and even making sure to get a big whiff of the couch after one of them gets up from where they’re sitting. Their home is overflowing with mementos of the two of them, like photo blankets, photo collages, and even articles of clothing with their pictures on them. They even paint portraits of each other!

The pair met in 2012 through Christina’s ex-boyfriend. She had never been with a woman and wasn’t looking for a romantic relationship. However, it only took a few days of knowing Dru for the two of them to fall in love. After those three first dates they haven’t been apart from each other’s sides for almost 12 years. They’ve started to mimic the other person almost entirely in what they say, how they feel, and what they do. Like a “Velcro” pet, one can’t even leave the room without the other following them. You won’t find them apart for long! Once Dru tried to go on a trip that required spending an evening away, and couldn’t make it longer than an hour before returning home to Christina’s side (who had been tracking her partner’s location while they texted back and forth just to feel close for this short separation.)

Even working separate jobs was too much for this obsessed couple. While they used to work opposite shifts at a retail store they changed their job to deliever packages for Amazon together. Now the two can make their own schedule and use their own car and don’t have to ever be apart! Now, they have a fully integrated life with each other, from waking up together, eating meals together, working together, coming home and going to sleep together. But it doesn’t stop there – getting ready for bed every night consists of a special tradition where they utter the words, “sweet dreams, I’ll meet you at the Green box!” It’s a ritual they’ve developed where they meet one another in dreamland. They meet at a fictional “green box” in their dream. Before they go to bed the concentrate on one another, hoping that they’ll see each other on the other side. The pair alleges that it works for them and they can still be together even in dream land!

Dru’s best friend of 20 years, LaDeja, has tried to be accepting of this relationship because she knows how happy Dru is, but it’s hard when she finds the closeness to be unhealthy. Dru can be attention seeking, overly emotional and dramatic, and admits to being a hot head. Sometimes when the couple fights, she’ll call LaDeja and asked to be picked up because she and Christina are taking some space. It’s usually no more than 5 minutes before Dru backpedals all of this, and presents a united front with Christina that they’re happier than ever in the marriage. Dru can also be extremely jealous and protective of Christina, causing a scene if she thinks that someone is flirting with her wife… Christina’s mom doesn’t quite accept or understand same-sex relationships, but since her husband has passed away, only has her daughter to lean on for support. If she wants to be part of her daughter’s life, she is forced to accept Christina’s lifestyle and that fact that Dru is part of that life.

Christina and Dru are legal guardians of their adopted daughter Jada who is four years old… but they want to keep growing their family! This year, they are in the process of adopting an infant girl and are hoping to have her come to live with them by end of 2023. The couple doesn’t want to stop there. They have begun exploring biological pregnancy options through IVF. Christina has even tried to get pregnant through home insemination from a donor they plan to use. Their future pregnancy plans are even more wild. The couple want to go through IVF and pregnancy together! They want to carry each other’s eggs through IVF, inseminating one another with the same donor at the same time. Being pregnant at the same time will allow them the ultimate closeness and expression of love!
