Triple Trouble

Celina, Cierria and Chelsea have always been inseparable. Despite the sisters being three, four, and seven years apart from each other they have always felt like they are triplets. They are the first to admit that their close relationship isn't always perfect. They bicker and argue but at the end of the day they always come back together because no one else can replace their unshakable bond. Their mother Cindy was one of seventeen kids (yes, that’s right!) so the girls took to each other so that they weren’t lost in the shuffle of so many cousins! They were each other’s best friends growing up and not much has changed since!

The sisters admit that they are obsessed with each other. Celina says her favorite call of the day is their good night call where the sisters need to speak to each other before they fall asleep. Since she is the oldest Celina has always seen her sisters as being her babies. Celina loves to have her sisters come over to her house so she can host their weekly "sleep over spa night." Celina loves to give her sister facials and use them as guinea pigs for her homemade face masks and treatments that she whips up in her kitchen. It’s not uncommon for them to be in the nude together, pampering themselves and trying on makeup and cute outfits. They even will share their hair! Celina has a collection of beautiful wigs that she loans out to her younger sisters. Cierria and Chelsea love to be babied by Celina. Celina is an aspiring fashion designer and her sisters are always her muses and models. Like "little dolls" Celina has her sisters model clothing and pose for photos.

The sister’s bond was solidified after they lost their father in November 2018. The girls grew up in Denver, Colorado and loved everyone living together in the same home. Their father passed away unexpectedly and did not have a will in place to distribute their family assets, including their family home. The sisters' parents were never legally married so the family's rights to their father's estate was a complicated matter.  As a result, their father's sister took possession of the home and decided to evict the family from the home in which they were raised. The girls were devastated by their aunt's actions and they came together to try to rebuild their lives. Their father raised the girls with the mantra that family is everything and the sisters knew that the only way to weather the storm was to stay close to each other. The sisters lived together in Cierria's two-bedroom apartment while they figured out their next move. The girls set their sights on Atlanta, Georgia.  So, they packed up their bags and their families and made the 29-hour drive together and landed in July 2020 to start their new lives.

Cierria has been with her boyfriend Patrick for six years. Cierria says that her close relationship with her sisters makes her relationship with Patrick feel like it's on shaky ground. He gets frustrated that she is always with her sisters and think that she’s too focused on them and not their relationship. Despite the fact that Cierria and Patrick welcomed their daughter, Aamila, a year ago, Patrick is hesitant about proposing to Cierria. Patrick feels pressure from Celina and Chelsea to make it official and propose but he isn't on the same page when it comes to committing to a future with Cierria. Patrick loves Cierria and sees a long future with her, but he feels like their relationship is always on the back burner. Cierria feels conflicted. On one hand she wants Patrick to accept her relationship with her sisters on his own, but she also wants to know that he’s as committed to her as she is to him.

Celina has been with her husband Zack for 15 years. The pair were high school sweethearts and they have two children together Mazje (14) and Char (8.) Celina jokes that her sisters like her husband more than her! Celina says that if she and her husband are in a fight, her sisters will always ask, "what did you do?" and it drives her crazy that they take Zack's side all the time.

Chelsea lives with Cierria, Patrick, Aamila and mama Cindy. It certainly is a crowded house! Cierria thinks that Chelsea should move out. She is too old to be living with her mother and sister. She needs to branch out on her own and grow-up. The sisters think that Chelsea is afraid and too sheltered to strike out on her own. Chelsea in-turn contends that she’s simply calculated and isn’t in a rush! It seems that most aspects of her life are fair game for discussion. Chelsea is single and looking to find Mr. Right. Chelsea thinks that her sisters make it hard for her to date because they are judgmental and embarrassing. Celina and Cierria mettle, ask inappropriate questions and become private investigators whenever she is dating someone. It’s off-putting for any guy who is new to the sister-trio! As a result, Chelsea keeps her love live strictly private. That doesn’t mean that Celina and Cierria won’t do what they have to in order to keep tabs on their little sister’s love life.

The sisters are forging a new path in a new city together. Celina, Cierria and Chelsea are still grieving the passing of their father and the changes their family experienced as a result. Their bond is the only thing that brings the sisters comfort and they need to be connected with each other to feel okay. The sisters want to help each other grow but know that their close relationship is holding them back from new friends and experiences. Only time will tell if they’re ready to move-out, date, commit in their relationships, etc. in order to be the best versions of themselves possible.
