That realization led them to Florida’s Gulf Coast, specifically the 30A stretch between Inlet Beach and just before Destin, where they found the perfect mix of beachy calm, fun shops, great restaurants, and something for everyone. Another catch is that this place needs to be a place that their adult children will WANT to come visit. It can’t feel stale, old or boring.
With a budget topped at $500K, they’re searching for a cozy, not-too-crazy beach home within minutes of the water, while being smart about not over-investing as they explore the area long-term. The only catch with this couple is that they have champagne taste on a beer budget. They are adamant about living in the nicest zip code with the nicest beaches, but finding a deal in their price point is tricky...and will take a master realtor.
