Beth started her food blog, OMG! Yummy, after leaving a career in the tech industry.
Her love affair with food started when she was in the kitchen with her grandma, Annie. Beth would follow her around the kitchen and take notes on every step of grandma Annie’s ingredients since she never wrote down any recipes down.
In 2016, Beth placed in the top 5 in the Los Angeles Times Cookie Contest for her rose, cardamom, and pistachio snowball cookies.
Beth’s rugelach are legendary! She was inspired by grandma Annie’s cranberry orange muffins and created a scrumptious cranberry orange rugelach that people look forward to every year for the holidays.
Her brisket is always tender and a crowd-pleaser. Beth enjoys making homemade jam to pair with blintzes or sufganiyot, her favorite is a rosé jam with raspberry and strawberry.
She is motivated to compete to show people young and old that cooking for the holidays is about bringing people together with delicious, traditional dishes with some modern flair.
