But after adopting their two children, they took over Asti’s family business, Gulf Coast Explorers, which offers marine science programs and field trips across the Gulf Shores area. As it expands, being closer to the waterways and schools they serve has become essential. Therefore being in Dauphin island isn’t serving them because they have to commute to Gulf Shores for their new business and work. Between school schedules, family life, and running a hands-on marine education business, the drive has become a constant strain. Their current home no longer fits their daily rhythm, especially as Gulf Coast Explorers continues to grow.
