Anna & Christy + Jose
Buyers: Anna & Christy Best Friends
Current Home: Carolina Beach, NC
Beach House Hunting In: Carolina Beach, NC
Beach Home Budget: $400,000
Anna spends her workdays in the highly regulated world of pharmaceutical clinical trials, tracking patient safety and making sure every detail is accounted for. Outside of work, though, she's a lot harder to put in a box. She has a bold sense of style, drives a bright orange Jeep Wrangler that is impossible to miss, and has been reading tarot cards for more than twenty years. She is equally comfortable discussing clinical data and pulling tarot cards under a full moon on the beach. Somehow, the mix works perfectly for her.
After a divorce, Anna has been focused on building a new life for herself and her two adopted sons in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. They've been renting, but she's ready to find a permanent home and create some stability for her family. Her boys have already been through a lot of change, and this move is about giving them a place that feels secure, familiar, and truly theirs. For Anna, this search is not just about square footage and property values. It is about creating a home base where her family can settle in and stay awhile.
Along for the ride is her longtime friend Christy. The two met more than a decade ago while working together in clinical trials and quickly bonded over the pressures of the job, a shared sense of humor, and the ability to keep each other sane through stressful days. Christy recently bought her own home in the Carolina Beach area, so she knows exactly what Anna is walking into and is more than happy to offer opinions, encouragement, and probably a little unsolicited advice along the way.
Anna is looking for a home that balances practicality with personality. She would love three or four bedrooms so each of her sons can have their own space, at least two full bathrooms, and a dedicated office for the days she works from home. She is open to a condo, townhouse, or single family home as long as it is updated, move in ready, and does not come with a never ending list of renovation projects. Staying in a safe neighborhood and within their current school district is a must, and being close to the beach is high on the priority list because that is where she and her boys spend much of their free time.
