Alan

Alan Chorm, 33

When Alan met Praq, it was love at first sight. They immediately started dating and combined businesses. Alan was the real estate/design portion and Praq was construction. After 2 years together, they got engaged and Alan quickly started planning their life. The issue was he was pushing marriage, kids and building a farm upstate all at once and Praq couldn’t handle it. They started the surrogate process and then went on a trip to Nice, France with all their friends. When they returned home, Praq moved out and ended the engagement. It was like Alan was kicked in the stomach. When Alan tuned into the hit Netflix show Uncoupled, he didn’t realize that fictional story would actually become his life. Now, newly single Alan is putting all his efforts into his real estate career, his group of friends and dating apps. When Alan isn’t selling $5-$8M townhouses, he’s out walking his 2 Bengal cats on a leash around Central Park. Saying Alan is an animal lover is an understatement. In his Midtown apartment he has 3 cats, 1 Goldendoodle and is on the list to get one more Bengal and a Bernedoodle. His house is chaotic but he wouldn’t have it any other way, they bring him comfort. Somehow, with all those animals, he still manages to go out 5 nights a week with clients and his friends. Alan used to be a member of the Eklund-Gomes team at Douglas Elliman for years. That’s where he met his best friend Charlë. The two are inseparable and are together most days and nights of the week. Charlë was the friend to tell him he should not marry his ex. She knew it wasn’t right, but Alan didn’t listen. Alan think Charlë tends to talk a big game in terms of work, but she is the friend that gets him out of the house and back in the game. During the pandemic, Alan became incredibly close with Alex and the two are constantly together. They love hard and fight even harder. Janet knows Alan from the team and thinks he has the biggest mouth of anyone she’s ever met. She’s constantly warning Charlë not to tell him so much, but Charlë can’t help herself. Then somehow… everyone knows Charlë’s business.
