We all loved the idea of Dr. Phil’s house for the show! Casting had been trying to figure out who or what happened to that over-the-top property from day one, but only received crickets. Well, one day casting received a call with the answer, and we were VERY surprised! It turns out that the break out star from Bling Empire, Anna Shay, had purchased the property! She was originally drawn to the properties’ long drive way, discreet location and privacy. She’s been in the process of making the space her own, but elements of Dr Phil’s style still remain: The strange, tar-dipped gun art, the black kitchen with strange lighting/lamp, the black living room with the equally as strange fringed lamp, the black entertainment room with purple LED lighting. The garage still has remnants of his “British Pub” complete with a full bar, a British Telephone booth and a… gun safe? The iconic and very over-the-top antler gate also still remains. She still also has one of his petrified trees that she’s trying to find a home for! Anna is known for her quirky humor and decadent style. She’s in the process of putting her own spin on an already opulent property. Who better to be on a show about bling than a star of a show called, “Bling Empire,” who is coincidentally known for her own crazy, off-the-wall style and décor?

• Anna is obsessed with roses and flowers, so much so in fact that she has her roses and rose bushes flown in from her “Rose Guy” named David in the UK. She says that they smell like perfume! Not only are they everywhere in the backyard, they are also everywhere inside!

• She has plans to make a “living rose wall” on top of the living room mantel! She is also toying with the idea of putting her glass gun art INSIDE the floral arrangements found around the house!

• She’s obsessed with Lalique and crystals and wants as many crystals and shiny objects in her home as possible.

• She’s very hands on and talks about how she took shards of Swarovski crystals and put them in the grout of the tile in her old bathroom in her previous home. She’s doing the same her so she can have sparkly, blingy, grout.

• Her main entrance room is VERY grand, with an over-the-top chandelier as the crown jewel. The staircase is flanked by Louis Vuitton luggage and bizarre animal sculptures.

• She has a giant Japanimation character, “Cat” that stands four feet high that’s her favorite piece!

• After visiting a “Build A Bear” she is in talks about putting in a “Build a Bear” machine in the foyer.

• Anna has given her general contractor to the beginning of July to realize her plans.
